Er, sent them an email from my work email account yonks ago. Just checked the sent email's on the work account via the VPN, 'twas definitely sent.

**edit**

GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Just checked the outward bound email log. I used the word "restricted" in the email (regarding number of players) Our system wont send anything to a non-MoD (or anything that aint on the White List for that matter) email addy containing the words "restricted" or "secret" (and a few others, that I'm not at liberty to discuss)

Shit, fuck, arse.

Many apologies.

Funny that we haven't had any contact with them at all, even to confirm a game there and they just assume we're coming though.

I suppose it's a bit unfair to be so hateful, but have you seen the weather forecast for Longmoor for the weekend?

Heavy rain and winds of up to 35mph!

Sorry, back now. WW2 was doing my head in, an especially hateful meeting with Gadge and Yith at the weekend (Christ, it brought it all back to me, the 'bad old days' of CiA), so took a week off from the scene, gotsome work done and waited for my temper to calm down.

And... breath....-- attachment is not available --

hehe, Gadge and Rich do have that effect upon people. Mind you, I upset Gadge earlier this week. Didn't like me questioning why his PBI group - which advertises itself on the strength of doing things from the British POV - was going to run an event that is solely US Vs German.

PS. Week off? Sounds like a good plan to me!

Just in time! Had to moderate on the GMA forum this morning, and tell Gadge off for editing Brewupchaps' posts.

Hey Gadge

We've had a few comments about the number of PBI game threads popping up on various areas of the forum and I just feel you might need to reign it in a bit.

With so many proposed games being talked about for 2009, it could become a real problem if everyone starts promoting and discussing the games outside of the relevant forum.

Therefore could you please keep promotion and discussion of PBI games to the PBI forum? If you want us to add the game to the calendar ping me the dates and game names and I'll add them in (not sure if you have editing rights on that thread). That way we won't have every Tom, Dick, Josh and Harry posting about games left, right and centre.

If not we'll have to start moving threads around and that's a bit of a ballache TBH!

Many thanks

Stephen

Message subject: Re: PBI Game Threads
Folder: Inbox

Hang on Steve.

Its been listed in the PBI sections which is obviously whatever PBi want in them right.

We've also listed it once as announcements for the relevant protagonists, namely KS SS and the US section so they are aware of it.

If we only put it in the PBI bit then US players wouldnt see it would they?

And I put it in the calender for 2009 anyway, i couldn't see what that would be such an issue as last years pbi events and training days were listed there.

Out of interest who has taken issue?

-------------------------------------------------------

Sorry, perhaps wasn't clear. Comments from fellow organisers.

The issue is that we don't want everyone and their dog putting multiple postings on games across various forum areas and threads.

An announcement in General Airsoft Discussion about planned games would suffice.

Cheers

S

I'm not even going to bother to reply. In future I'll just move/delete the posts.

To be honest Steve I thought that was possibly the worst place to put it in general discussion as it would blanket spam everybody rather than specifically targeting those folk who would be interested.

However if you'd rather we pushed it at *everybody* rather than the two groups of 30 we'd want there then thats fine.

I think this only really applies to St lo anyway as op lightning is a private battle for KGSS and PBI memebers and hence in all fairness we (as in KG SS and PBI) can put as many thread as we like on it in our own section syeah?

The threads in the KGSS section are reposted their at express request of the KGSS leaders Del and Pete.

So essentially all this is about two posts, one really?

One in general US and one (agai by request) in the SS section.
